Given the stranglehold their debut single "(I Hate) Everything About You" had on active rock radio in '03, Three Day's Grace set the bar high for their sophomore album. By sticking to their formula of heavy, rhythmic metal and razor-wire hooks, they clear it easily. Singer Adam Gontier is still proudly tortured, the band's dual guitar attack is still crunchy and mean, and their ballads have become more melodic and Bic-flickable. Lead single "Animal I Have Become" will surely have Three Day's Grace throttling the airwaves once again.
